Insects vs Robots and Ahkiyyini at Del Monte Speakeasy (December 1, 2011)
After over a year-long hiatus, Venice supergroup Insects vs Robots resurfaced at the historic Del Monte Speakeasy with new EP in tow. Also performing were psychedelic (and prolific) rockers, Ahkiyyini, and Li Daiguo whose solo performance was a mix of traditional Chinese music, Mongolian throat singing and beat box. Really.

Ocelot Robot and The Diablo Rojo Experience at Good Hurt (July 27, 2011)
It’s been a while since these guys made an appearance on the Westside and none too soon as I had things to attend to on the Atlantic side of the country. Ocelot Robot always puts on a rockin’ show and their stage antics make for great photo ops.
